The debate over who deserves the 2024 Ballon d’Or continues to divide fans and pundits. Initially, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior were the frontrunners, especially with their performances leading up to the European Championship and Copa America.

However, their outings in these tournaments have seemingly diminished their chances.

French giants PSG have reportedly made a stunning €200m bid for Napoli stars Victor Osimhen and Khvicha  Kvaratskhelia.

Osimhen, whose summer transfer market release clause is €130m, could be sold for €100m as Napoli appears ready to offload the Nigerian international. The proposed deal splits as €110m for Osimhen and €90m for the Georgian winger.

Reports from Corriere dello Sport indicate that PSG and Saudi club Al Ahli are keen on signing Osimhen. However, the striker dreams of playing in the Premier League and is not considering a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Despite the offer, Napoli has maintained that Kvaratskhelia is not for sale, having previously rejected a €110m bid from PSG in June. The Serie A champions remain firm on their stance regarding the talented winger.

Meanwhile, Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea have shown interest in the 25-year-old Osimhen but have balked at the full €130m release fee. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis might accept a lower offer if it arrives soon, allowing the club to pursue Romelu Lukaku, their primary target.

Chelsea is reigniting their interest in Napoli’s star striker, Victor Osimhen, by reportedly offering one of their top talents in a blockbuster swap deal.

The transfer saga surrounding Osimhen continues to unfold. Despite having a verbal agreement to leave Napoli this summer, no European club has met his €130 million release clause.

Chelsea’s Tempting Offer for Osimhen

According to transfer expert Rudy Galetti, Chelsea is determined to secure Osimhen and is proposing a deal that includes Cesare Casadei, Romelu Lukaku, and a significant cash sum.

New Napoli manager Antonio Conte is eager to reunite with Lukaku, his former Inter Milan star, but negotiations have been challenging. Chelsea is also looking to offload Armando Broja and Trevoh Chalobah, though Napoli has shown no interest in these players.

With Arsenal reportedly out of the race for Osimhen, Chelsea remains hopeful that Napoli will accept their swap deal to finalize this high-profile transfer.
